I like the pieces. They are just plastic, but have a nice feel. The box is well-made and durable. The board is the big problem: the board we got was warped so that it would not lay flat. The company responded promptly and is sending a new one. However, the big problem was that we left the board laid out on a wooden table for two days and when we picked up the board there were splotches on the underlying wood. Everywhere a piece was sitting on the board, the stain underneath was bleached. Presumably some solvent on the board had damaged the stain of the wood. Our antique game table has been ruined.
