Avoid this recessed handle Bosch Dishwasher model at all cost unless you want an ongoing service headache. This 500 series model has become a nightmare and probably the 800 series as well since they both have the same handle design. The plastic chrome handle trim keeps breaking with very minimal and careful use (handle p/n 752527) where the (3) screws hold it in place. The last new handle broke in less than a 1-week time-frame. I just heard this is a common problem only now. None of the reviews I read before purchasing mentioned it. Be forewarned now.. The service companies all want to come out once to verify the handle is broken then order the part and come out again. If you value your time, avoid the nightmare I am having to deal with. I believe Bosch know of this problem and is in denial. I can only stress my displeasure in this design defect.on my brand new Bosch Dishwasher.
