great pillow my daughter is kind of afraid of the dark so this helps a lot to have a light up cuddle buddy that stays lit all night. only reason this is 2 stars is the one fact that they did a horrible job on making sure its fire safe. yes i mean fire safe. i was disappointed when i saw the light had turned off i thought the batteries had died... after 3 days. geez! granted it stays on ALL night but we turn it off in the morning. so being the good mom that i am i had bought extra batteries and went to replace them only to discover the wires had come apart from each other... yay... i get to play electrician today. you know what those wires were held together and covered with?! HOT GLUE!!! Guess what electric currents create?! That's right! HEAT!!! too much heat on a flammable surface creates FIRE!!!! call me a crazy person with an overactive imagination, (i guess that's the price you pay to be a good parent). but isn't it a little cheaper to get a safer more heat/electric proof product than to pay for my new house and belongings because they wanted to save a few pennies per product!? i would gladly pay even $10 more just to know that when i go to replace batteries i don't have to say a prayer of gratitude that i discovered the mistake... can you tell im upset? SO... if you already own a star pillow or intend to buy it. open it up, break out your electrical tape and remove the laughable excuse for a binder and fix it. THEN give it to your kids.
