This book is the junk science
This author doesn’t have a nutrition science background and understands no more than fad. While it is true that gluten free has become a fad, it is born out of a growing number of health issues related to gluten sensitivity and celiac’s disease. As the parent of a celiac son and with my background, I can tell you that NO ONE NEEDS wheat or grain based products so avoidance of them for any reason you choose is not only fine, it’s inconsequential to your health. Yes, I absolutely said that. This isn’t about belief but about science. And I’m sorry but the “junk science” is attempting to tell you here that your choices about how to care for yourself are wrong and the not-so-credible authoritarians should make your decisions for you. -nutritionist, RN and mother of a celiac child
