bought this antenna to replace my 10 element yagi. Test results were very disappointing. At 25 ft above ground (same as yagi), was not able to detect a single channel. The yagi , at the same height receives 25--33 channels. As for construction, this antenna is a disaster! Made mostly of plastic, snap together, parts, it would never survive a typical dessert wind storm. I am located in the SW part of USA, where the summer surface temperature of non metal parts can reach 125 to 165 degrees F. You can fry an egg on dark colored concrete or black top surfaces. The plastic parts used in this antenna do not have UV retardants which results tn early cracking due to UV exposure. In summary, this antenna not only does not receive long distance TV signals, but will not survive the SW USA dessert climate. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE IN SW USA.
