Demonic Lint Onslaught of 2015
When these "black" towels arrived I immediately threw them in the washer and dryer. My roommate later checked the lint trap and asked if I had just washed a dozen pair of jeans. Little did I know this would be a precursor for the Demonic Lint Onslaught of 2015. Simply drying oneself in the bathroom immediately following a shower will result in some noteworthy phenomenon. Your entire bathroom will be coated in a thin layer of very very dark blue fibers. Is the back of your toilet dusty? Nope, that's lint. What's that in the sink? Lint. OH NO WHAT IS COATING THE SHOWER WALLS? LINT DEMONS! Did you know tiny amounts of moisture will cling to your bathroom walls when you take a shower? Once you notice your walls turning dark blue as lint demons wage war against the innocently evaporating water droplets you will. Oh yes, you will. The Lint Onslaught doesn't stop there of course. Are you planning on drying your hands? Arm Lint. Would you like to wash and dry your face and apply moisturizer? Behold the tiny orgies of lint demons parading on your otherwise moist visage. My Superior Egyptian Cotton Lint Demon Spawners are currently being thwarted by another round of washing and drying. I can only pray this may end their linty terrorism once and for all. Update: Six years have come and gone since my fateful purchase. I'm engaged to be married, and all is well, except for the awkward bathroom conversations. Many a woman will question the discarded fingernails, full trash cans, or the whiskers frolicking amongst the faucet. Alas, mine asks about the fibrelous dark torment I brought upon us, and my unwavering desire to not waste money and keep bad purchases around.
