I would give this product a zero star rating were that possible. This Frigidaire / Electrolux dehumidifier from companies who formerly had great, US reputations have turned to trash, in my opinion. Here's my story: I bought this device on June 28, 2014. Today, September 17, 2016 it has failed and is useless. The fan stirs the air but the compressor has stopped working entirely. (I had not purchased their extended warranty; my last dehumidifier lasted 12 years. It was not a Frigidaire.) I called Frigidaire Service, 1-800-944-9044, and reached their automated response - no humans answering calls - and got a local service phone number based on my zip code. A nice fellow answered my call and was helpful, but he couldn't actually be "helpful" because he had a company - FRIGIDAIRE / ELECTROLUX - that didn't back HIM up. Here's what he reported: The only replacement spare parts available were the caster wheels and a filter replacement screen. Circuit boards, connector wires and compressors - just sayin' - were NOT AVAILABLE. This appliance is designed to be a DISPOSABLE, literally, piece of TRASH. What a shame from two companies who used to have great reputations. I doubt that I will ever again purchase one of their products. My recommendation to you: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEHUMIDIFIER!!!!!
