I have been wanting these boots for ages and finally bought them in Feb 2017. They fit great, look awesome, I was so happy! I wore them maybe 5 times before the weather in CA warmed up. I cleaned them off, stored them in a cool dark spot in my closet and waited for the fall. I pulled them out today (7 months later in Oct 2017) and after having them on for 2 hours, all gloss on the boots is cracking. The boots smell strongly of rubber that has been heated, and any place that the boot bends, the finish crackles. The boots look awful. This is absolutely criminal that, after spending $140, wearing them 6 times, they are ruined. Hunter's warranty is only good for 6 months (provided you purchase directly from them), and Zappos, the third party who sold the boots through Amazon, only will take returns if the item has never been worn and is in the original packaging. So I'm $140 poorer and have a crappy pair of boots to show for it. Save your cash, or, better yet, buy these from a place like Nordstroms, that will replace DEFECTIVE items.
