Thi--s is my re---view as if I----were a bas--eball gam---e on ML---BTV.
If you've used MLB before, you're probably familiar with the issues. From the "dramatic redesign" of the PS3 app prior to the 2014 season that was rolled back after the all star break, to the drastically inferior Xbox 360 version that still doesn't work right.
Well, expect the same. Here I am with a 60mbps connection on my fire stick and video and audio are skipping more than once per 10 seconds. "Oh, no problem. Just turn your quality settings down," you might be saying, and that would be a pretty nice option. No deal. MLB purports to use some state of the art stream quality detection which sounds nice, but in practice, I'm just sitting here watching a choppy baseball game. It sucks.
MLB.com: If you're listening, please consider employing whoever is responsible for the Xbox360s version of the WatchESPN app: streams are HQ, layout is fantastic, no issues. You are absolutely terrible at this. Give up.
