I like protein as much as the next guy as I am a very healthy musclebound gym rat. I love foods like these for bulking up muscles. This particular package had an extra protein that We DID NOT WANT. Insects, yes Insects. Not just a one, but many. Webbing, mosquitoes and other unidentifiable flying type insects. Some were loose in the bag, some burrowed into the nuts, etc. , some were cocooned and attached to the nuts. Needless to say, we do not want to eat this. The nuts themselves seem to be fresher product mixed with older products. Then you have all the bugs. I hate to have to write this kind of review. I really do. I am a business owner and I know how important quality control and customer service are. I also feel it is important to give good honest reviews to others so they know what they are getting. I do not know what level of Insects are acceptable to the people who make this product. But I know, if I can see a face, legs or wings in my food, I am not eating it. I contacted the company and they assured me this issue would be looked into and taken care of. I truly hope they mean that. This is an honest review and this problem is real. As of December 10th, we asked for a refund on this product as we feel it is not something we can consume.
