The caption says it all, I work with metal on a daily basis and I can distinguish any grade of stainless steel rod from chrome plated steel 20 feet away. Not to mention the robe hangers were protruding through the box as received and coating is scratched from shipping damage so pretty obvious it is not stainless. Stainless doesn’t scratch off. Amazon description states "stainless steel". Product manual states "stainless finish". What does this mean, what is a stainless finish....? This item is chrome plated. Steel wire gauge insufficient Steel wire cutting and fitting poor Welding poor Worst corrugate packaging I have seen in years, not remotely possible this flimsy box will protect this item in shipping...EVER. Paid $45, expected a great product based on reviews and description. However, even if it were ACTUALLY stainless this thing is barely worth 20 bucks. Back to Amazon it goes with me wasting more time. 3rd item in 2 months received from Amazon that is flat out mis-represented. Starting to lose some faith in Amazon’s vendors and its consumer rating system to ensure their customers get what is advertised.
