This crusher works great but after using mine maybe a dozen times, rust goo started showing up on the ice. I sent photos to Victorio. They replied: "Based on what you’ve shown me, it appears that there is rusting from the fittings, but not the blades. This would happen because the fittings are not stainless steel and require being dried after each use." I explained that the place the rust is coming from is inside the handle which is surrounded by plastic. In the picture, I removed the 4 screws that hold this plastic together in order to show all the rust. You'd have to remove these screws after each use to dry the place the rust is coming from. They didn't respond. I just threw mine out. I would not buy this crusher.
