Update #2: The replacement device broke in the same exact way while I was getting dressed. It once again just fell off. The plastic where that holds the strap to the base is brittle and cheap. Update #1: The Halo View literally came apart on my wrist. It actually broke while flushing the toilet and just about fell in. Considering I only wore it for the weekend, without any additional or sports use, I am going to guess the device is made from extremely cheap plastic. I guess I'll try to return it. Original: The Halo View is a surprisingly small and light fitness tracker. The product quality fairly matches its price point. It does not feel like premium product made from quality material. The included band is pretty awkward too. The data seems consistent so far and the health points are nowhere near as troublesome as others have suggested. If you do nothing all day and expect to be rewarded... you're mistaken. I'll update this review when I have had more time with the device.
