I am a quilter. My iron is of utmost importance, so please, listen to me and all the others who are complaining about Rowenta irons that leak! ITS TRUE! I have been a Rowenta die hard user for over 30 years, but I bought their most expensive iron a few years ago to replace my old Rowenta that lasted over a dozen years. And in 11/2 years the new one began leaking. Then I bought another. And it too has started pouring out water this morning. I am NOT a happy camper. ROWENTA YOU ARE DESTROYING YOUR REPUTATION!!! Every single person in my quilt guild is complaining about this - and believe me, quilters talk. So for every bad review you read here there are probably 10 others. Or more! I’m buying a Pur iron. I have one set up on a board near my longarm and it’s amazing. In fact, I like it better than the Rowenta that just died. AND ITS HALF THE COST. So save yourself money and frustration and run not walk to the nearest Pur Iron dealer ... or anyone who is NOT ROWENTA. There! I vented! Hope it helps someone.
