The main anti-stain ingredient is perfluoroakyl salts, which is PFAS (and PFOA) - the "forever chemicals" we now know accumulate in our bodies and in the environment, causing cancer. My wife pointed this out after I purchased this item, and I regret even bringing it into the house, let alone think of using it for our food-surface preparation countertops. This stuff should have been banned from all kitchen uses a long time ago. I'm not returning it but instead taking it to my local hazardous waste collection program.
