I, an adult man, bought these to jot down notes of things I think of or remember while in the shower because I often forget my shower thoughts between getting out of the shower and having the opportunity to make notes on paper or in my phone. Not surprisingly, the darker colors work better than the lighter ones. What did surprise me was how they really only write when completely dry AND on a dry surface - odd, considering how they’re meant to be used in the bath. When wet, they are pretty useless. The construction is also not one of the finer points. The wax part is WAY shorter than you’d expect, and it’s not held in the plastic crayon casing too well, often jiggling loose and falling out. I only chose these because they had the highest ratings. Hard to imagine the others being much worse
