So for starters the picture shows a mild cut on my finger which didn’t actually start as a small cut. I was using the laundry pod in my bathtub and it doesn’t spin all the water out of the clothes well. So I figured science would say “spin faster to get out more water”. I tossed the clothes around and started spinning but the pod jumps so freaking much. I anchored it between my feet and began spinning again when the handle popped up and snapped over my finger mid spin and ripped a hole in my finger. I was dripping blood so fast I couldn’t make it to my sink without a stream of blood on my floor. The gash while may not be long certainly is deep and the pictures above are 1 and 2 weeks after healing. I actually have a lump of scar tissue on my finger now. Though I haven’t given up on using it, I have to go outside to my porch and tie a strap around both sides to tightly keep the pod in place so it doesn’t jump. I think the handle folding is stupid and useless and in my case harmful. It still doesn’t spin a decent enough water out and the infomercial on youtube about it is irritating because it says “you use 1/60 of water and 1/10 of laundry detergent.” Which isn’t accurate at all because you can’t do 1/10 of the laundry a washer can do at once. So you’re truthfully no saving water or detergent at all. I’m truly not impressed but I’m determined to continue to make it work. Update 4/28/19 handle broke off last week. Returned to amazon and awaiting refund. I would’ve been fine with a replacement but the lady offered the refund instead so I took it. Having issues shipping it back but that’s a problem with UPS. Won’t buy again. Do not recommend. Bought the giant ex portable twin tub washer instead. Twice as much clothes. Electric spinner gets my clothes literally almost dry to the touch. Will be posting a review on that soon.
