First, let me say, this book really is beautifully done. The layout and photos are great and makes for a nice coffee table book. Unfortunately, the book seems to have questionable accuracy. In one instance, the book talks about rare house plants such as the pitcher plant. The problem is that they’re talking about Sarracenia (North American Pitcher Plant), but incorrectly showed a picture of a Nepenthes (Tropical Pitcher Plant), that has its own unique needs. The book also fails to mention that these plants require water with low mineral content and also require a dormancy period—two things that left ignored are a death sentence for these plants.
