This is NOT an environmentally friendly alternative to buying the plastic jug of detergent. This product comes inside a large cardboard box which is packed with plastic air bags that are non recyclable. The Tide box itself comes shrink wrapped in plastic that is not recyclable. The plastic bag inside the box that holds the soap is not recyclable. The nozzle is not recyclable. Aside from all of that, it’s messy. Trying to squeeze out all of the soap in that bag is a chore. I’ve never spilled any soap using plastic jugs. Which ARE VERY RECYCLABLE. Don’t bother with this. Just recycle your empty detergent jugs.
