We took this enzyme for over a year with wonderful results....until ATPro was added. Soon after, I developed peripheral neuropathy but never in a million years would I have considered that Digest Gold was to blame. It wasn't until my nutritionist suggested a different enzyme that I figured out the connection. During the few months that I was taking the other brand, the neuropathy was gone, however I didn't feel the other brand was helping with digestive issues as much as Digest Gold so I switched back. As soon as I did, the neuropathy came back in full force. It was very evident that the Digest Gold was to blame as it was the only change I had made. Thanks to the other 1 star reviews I realized that the symptoms began when Enzymatica changed the formula. Over a year of suffering and a VERY expensive medical workup, it was very disappointing to realize that something I thought was completely safe and without side effects caused such an extreme side effect. I have not had any Digest Gold since April and have not had a single episode of neuropathy since.
