When it worked this was a great light. Unfortunately it stopped working completely after 8 months of normal use. I suspect it's the photo detector but have not had time to disassemble it and find out, nor should I need to: TORCHSTAR claims a five year warranty. However, attempts to contact them have gone no where. They responded to my initial e-mail asking for a phone number. They responded to my response to that asking what was wrong (isn't that their job to figure out?). They have failed to respond to that reply in any way.
