I believe this brand is highly overrated. This particular model is nothing more than decorative. The glass bowl began chipping after the third use. It is very difficult to lock it into position and that is what caused the bottom to chip at the grooves.... I'm really disappointed with this brand. Each mixer I buy from them breaks down within 1 year. They were definitely built better before they became popular.
