Buyer beware, many of these drives are not retail drives, and do not come with Western Digital's warranty. From the batches I've received, the ones that do have warranties are always short by a few months, with the vendor offering to provide their own warranty. I'm sorry, but a warranty from a reseller is nowhere near as strong as a warranty from the manufacturer. I would suggest finding a vendor who is selling retail drives that come with the manufacturer's full 5 year warranty.
