Did the sourcing for the contents change at the time of the labelling change?
Both my wife and me have been faithful users of the Naturelo one a day vitamins for a year or more. Didnt have any issues during that time. When we reordered in April 2018, the packaging had changed to a newer type, but the vitamins and minerals list had not changed, so we didnt think much of it. Now the Men's version seemed the same as before, no issues. The women's version however, caused my wife to get a dry mouth and ulcers, rash on cheeks and throat and scratchy eyes. Initial thought was allergies due to something else. She stopped taking after 4-5 days, and over the next 3 days, all the symptoms cleared up. I contacted the customer service, they assured me that the contents were unchanged. So just to experiment, I took the women's version. On day 3, I had a dry, raspy mouth feel and mildly scratchy eyes (perhaps not as bad as the wife, but definitely similar symptoms). Stopped immediately, and things went back to normal in 2 days. The Men's version seems to be doing fine with me though. Not sure if the sources for the ingredients were changed in any way, or if any allergens got introduced in the batch used for the Women's version. Beyond suggesting I send to their lab for analysis (but no shipping labels or info), the customer rep had no suggestions. Wife stopped taking these now, and has to look for another vitamin now, which is a bummer! What else changed when they changed the labelling? Just not clear, but the outcome speaks for itself.
