I bought this after reading reviews of almost every other globe offered. Very excited to order and very disappointed when it arrived. The globe itself seemed "okay" - the longitude lines did not match up except nearly so around China. The biggest problem - and the deal breaker for me - is the flimsy, fixed stand. Cheap plastic, and fixed to the cheap plastic base so if you want to look at the poles you have to pick the whole thing up. Additionally, I guess I had expected more map detail.. If this item was $25.00 I might have considered keeping it (maybe) but as is, it is way overpriced. Lesson learned: for this item, go to a land-based shop!
