I bought this based on reviews. I popped the water restriction piece out, which came out easily. I installed it with the enclosed plumber's tape. There was a tiny little leak where it attaches. I gave the shower head a try and was disappointed to find that the water pressure sucks big time. I took it down and removed the screened washer from where the hose connects to the shower head. I then replaced the other screened washer with one that has no screen and put it back up. Still isn't as good as the hand held I took down. (I am considering putting that one back up.) What I like about this unit is some of the settings, which differ from my old one, the flatter profile of the head and there is a clicking sound when you engage each setting, so you know if you are fully on each setting or not. What I hate about it is the pressure (or lack thereof) and that it doesn't seat properly in the holder. There is enough pressure to get the shampoo out of my hair using two of the settings, thankfully.
