Carpenter's review. False warranty
Im a finish carpenter. My ridgid screw guns were dying on me all the time so I upgraded to this 9 tool dewalt set. I picked this set because i really wanted the multi tool. Its the best performing tool of the batch. I use the screw guns and skill saw daily installing doors and cabinets. I've had them for a month so far and they work great. Plenty of torque, 2ah batteries last 8 hours with the screw guns. i bought 5ah batteries for the other tools. I would suggest upgrading the charger. Takes a couple hours to fully charge battery. . Only other complaint is i used the reciprocating saw maybe a dozen times, light duty only, cutting drywall mostly, and it crapped out on me. Motor completely seized up and started smoking. I contacted Dewalt, waiting on a response. I think I just got a defected tool. Would have gotten 5 stars otherwise.
Updated***
I've had the set for 13 months now. The reciprocating saw broke down on me but DeWalt fixed that for free because it was after 6 months of use. But the impact drill just broke on me. I brought it to the DeWalt service Center and they told me they're tools only have a one year warranty even though in the description it says 3 year limited warranty. They told me the switch went bad on my drill and the part cost $70. Changed my review to a one-star because of the misleading warranty information.
