BUYER BEWARE. All I could think about last night, aside from getting my money refunded, was how I was going to write this review and WARN ALL OF YOU not to buy this heating pad. The SMELL is appallingly bad. Unbelievably obnoxiously bad. Completely chemical and NASTY. So nasty, in fact, that, last night, after putting it in bed at my feet and warming it up----I had to get out of bed, unplug it, stuff it back into its box and put it outside. THEN I had to wash my feet, because I could smell the toxic chemicals stench on my feet. I wish I could have taken my bed apart right then and there and put on clean sheets, but I have housemates and didn't want to wake them. What a nightmare. Today I changed my sheets and washed the chemicals out of my other set. BE WARNED. I have owned Sunbeam heating pads before but NEVER smelled the disgustingly poisonous smell that came from this one. Amazon----thank you for my refund.
