Would not recommend plastic handle does not hold well. Only 2.5 months in and the handle fell off. Espresso maker brews great but manufacturer should work on making handle sturdy. Otherwise you find yourself purchasing another espresso maker. This is my second espresso maker. UPDATE: As always, Amazon was very helpful and mail me a new espresso maker at no cost. I am grateful and hope it will last longer than the previous one. I would like to express that this is not an amazon issue but the manufacturer.
