Don't waste your money! You've already wasted 30 mins. on the commercial!!
So where to start? I'm mid forties, fair to medium complexion, and struggle with some light scarring and age spots/sun damage. My biggest issue is dark circles under my eyes and wrinkles. Sooo disappointed and can't believe I fell for an infomercial's line of crap but I did! This foundation does not cover even half as well as drugstore foundations that cost $8 or less no matter how much I apply. Wouldn't even cover the tiny red scar on my nose, let alone the redness and dark circles I have. Not sure how they pull off the commercial but you WILL NOT get those magic results. I purchased the 5 piece starter kit. The foundation feels good on my skin but DOES NOT cover anything. Needs powder to set it and even then, it's GONE by 2 pm. Try Instant Age Rewind by Maybelline, does a better job and costs $8. . Next: IT Bye Bye Concealer. More like Hello dark circles, you're still there! I will say this does a better job than others I've tried, but if you are in need of tear trough fillers, forget it! Might be good for women in the 20s or 30s but if you have hollows under your eyes, not going to help. I will also say this is the BEST product in the kit and that's not saying much. Next: Vitality Lip Flush 4 in One. Feels good, but this "one color for all" in the kit is the same color you see painted on Barbie dolls. Just too pink and Easter pastel. Also GONE after one can of Diet Coke. Smears all over too. Try Super Stay 24 (also Maybelline, with all these plugs maybe they'll send me a check lol? ) Does seem to condition my lips, but I can get that from Chapstick for $1 at Walgreens. Next: Bye Bye Pores To be fair, I don't have an issue with large pores. However, this miracle blurring powder as they claim just seems to stick heavily to the foundation, yet seems to remove it, and leaves a "sheen" all over. So now your red marks are visible and shiny too! Fabulous! Next: Hello Lashes mascara Ok, I will tell you I have pretty decent lashes to start with (long, curl upwards on their own) and I'm grateful for that. I need mascara for volume, color and definition since mine are very light colored. This mascara is just OK. It is highly pigmented but if I use the wand part and not just the tip of the applicator, I end up with 6-8 clumps of lashes that even a very fine brush won't separate. I get better results with believe it or not NYC Big and Bold for $5 or Colossal Volume Express (again from Maybelline, lol) for $6. So their claim of 430% more volume is correct, if you want 6 to 8 big clumps for eyelashes. So on to The FREE GIFTS! Vitality Face Disk I actually like 2 out of 3 things in this disk. The Bronzer is adequate, lots of color and you can tell it's good quality. Same with the blush, highly pigmented, a little goes a long way and very easy to blend. Their one color for all works for my skin tone. So I lucked out there. The contouring Radiance Illuminator part is not good, unless you want to look like you painted egg whites on your face and baked it. Very, very shiny. At my age I don't need shimmery anything, especially since the "pore powder" already left me glowing like a cheap light bulb. Other free gift was a makeup brush. Very high quality, has a large and a small end and I use it everyday with my products purchased from other companies. So hope this helps other women who have sat through repeat infomercials for IT hoping this kit would be their answer to mid forties skin issues. It wasn't mine! Good luck!!
