It's sort of OK but be prepared for spillage. I bought this to replace my 30+ year old shot-measurer since it was showing signs of corrosion. It's well made, nicely finished, attractively priced and the rubbery grip in the middle makes it impossible to drop. That said, I think Oxo focused too much on designing their measuring jigger to match their "X" logo, and less for usability. If filled anywhere near capacity, it spills with the slightest lateral movement. The shallow sloped sides are poorly designed to retain liquid. Keep paper towels handy. I'm going to give myself a few more weeks to try and learn to adapt to its its awkwardness before setting it in the Goodwill pile. I've included a picture of the Oxo along side with the one I was hoping to retire. The design difference is obvious. The old one works, the new one... not so much. Time to go shopping again. Update, 6-5-2018. Finally gave up on the spill-o-matic OXO and put it in the Goodwill box. Lesson learned. Bought a perfect replacement and have been using it for two weeks. Haven't spilled a drop. Our new recommendation: HIC Japanese-Style Double Cocktail Jigger. It's cheaper, it's on Prime, and it works.
