Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I don't know how these got to be #1 in Ice Cube Molds & Trays. My guess is that reviews are being written a few weeks or even a few months after the purchase date. Here's my experience. I purchased this 4 pack in August of 2016. They seemed great at first. Let's face it, there isn't much to rate on an ice cube tray. 1) Are the cubes a "good" size? 2) Are the cubes easily dispensed from the tray? 3) How long does the tray last before needing replacement? 1) I knew the size of the cubes when I made the purchase. 2) The cubes come out of the tray easily after running the tray under water for just a few seconds. No problem so far. 3) A crack developed in one of the trays after about 6 months. By 1 year, all the trays had cracks. I'm shopping for new trays today and will toss these when the new trays arrive. I'm thinking of trying silicone. Does anyone have any suggestions. Save your 10 bucks. These are junk!
