Phony cookbook. Lacks important specific instructions. The author doesn't appear to exist.
I wish I had returned this when I had the chance. It is one of the worst cookbooks I have ever read. The picture for "Mini Turkey Pies"--one of the first recipes--is of what looks almost exactly like an Egg McMuffin. (It may be that this is just meant to be the photo for the Breakfast section, but it still contributes strongly to the haphazard and fraudulent feeling of this book.) There is a big disconnect between recipe instructions and the actual buttons on the new Instant Pot Duocrisp + Air Fryer. There are no step-by-step photographs.
For the "Fried Whole Chicken" recipe the instructions read as, "Mix the seasoning and rub a little amount on the chicken. Pour the broth inside the air fryer basket and place the chicken. Cook for 25 minutes at 400F. ..." Okay, "Cook" is not one of the buttons. Would that be the Broil, Air Fry, Roast or Bake button? Too many recipes instruct "Cook" without specifying which setting to use. I do not usually leave very sour reviews, but I feel ripped off, even at $2.99 for this e-book.
In reading the many five-star reviews for this book, after the fact, I think many of them are phony. The English is not natural and they are grandiose in their praise, which is absurd for a book of this low caliber. I could not find any info on the author "Noah White"
