I would have kept it a sold five stars had the last firmware update not wrecked my 2.4 GHz channel. Factory reset and all the tweaking in the world will no longer keep all of my 2.4 devices connected. I have to constantly change the channel bandwidth in order to keep MOST things connected. There are at least two wifi devices that will no longer connect at all. This is a far cry from when practically out of the box, it worked flawlessly. I've had it with this router. Certainly expected better quality out of ASUS. $200 for a router that only lasts a year is unacceptable. Update 5-16-18: Latest firmware (3.0.0.4.382_50470) effectively unborked the previous update. Router is now working like it used to. The fact that it took more than two months; that ASUS admitted no fault in their product and for having me jump through all of the hoops to troubleshoot "MY" issue pisses me off to no end. I spent countless hours of my own time removing and reconnecting wifi security cams along with over another dozen devices chasing this ghost. Such a PITA ordeal that I would still not rebuy or recommend this router to anyone. My 1-star review remains.
