I'm a huge fan of Danielle's, her clothes and her instagram and this was a huge disappointment. The writing is poor at best, has several mistakes, lacks a cohesive chronological order and she should seriously fire her editor. Growing up in a similar way I would never brag the way she did - pretending she really started from the ground and built herself up? There was no adversity in her life, no major obstacles she had to overcome and the small ones she did turned out fine for her (her shoe line for example). This story lacks any inspiration whatsoever and was a major brag fest about how successful she got at a young age and all the guys she slept with (which by the way we didn't need to hear about every guy she's had sex with in her entire life). She tries too hard and pretends to be relatable and she seriously misses the mark in more ways than one. Her goal was to come off sounding like a modern day Carrie Bradshaw (and that is excruciatingly obvious) she would have been better off just being herself or waiting a few more years till she's matured. Her stories are not book nor blog worthy and whoever suggested she write a book should go back to their day job because none of the stories were really worth telling. Not writing this to be a hater, just wanted to say this isn't how life is for most people and you shouldn't compare yours to hers. Just wanted to say I was majorly disappointed as this is someone I've genuinely looked up to. This showed me who she is in a different light and seriously planning on unfollowing her after reading it.
