Hey! Do you want to pay $200 for something that you can do with an aux cord? Well, today's your lucky day! Amazon (I usually adore em!) has chosen to pawn this piece of junk off as a kind of Sonos Connect/Connect Amp equivalent. Ladies and gentlenerds, please believe me when I tell you that it is decidedly NOT that. The Sonos Connect/Connect Amp have a particular quality that this product doesn't: If you have a connect/connect amp, your turntable will play music through your existing Sonos speakers. If you have an echo link/echo link amp and echo, dot,spot, alexa, Electa, Tex Mextra , etcetra speakers....ya get nothin. Oh...I hear the the turntable deficient masses, snearing as they wave their Amazon branded pitchforks "Amazon never claimed that functionality, man!" Well Todderick, if you use the words "Audiophile" and "Amp" in your adverts then you're asking a specific set of dancers to come to your shindig. I'm speaking/writing to those folks. Use your clogs elsewhere. This ain't our dance. Don't pawn something off as a Connect alternative and then act surprised when we think that it is one. It's disingenuous at best, Littlefingery at worst. Silly us. I received this box o hell on Friday, dec 28th and I will try my best to have it riding a UPS truck away from me before 2019 starts sniffing around. if you're thinking about buying this thing, do yourself a favor and consider the joys of an Aux cord....and Clogs
