This review is not on the wyze plug which works wonderfully within its own app. This review is on the use of the Alexa service that should work with this device but never has even once. Bought these because they were supposed to work with Alexa. Set them up per instructions and the wyze app finds them every time no problem. Functions well within wyze app and is very responsive. However the Alexa app CAN find the device initially but immediately states the device is unresponsive. When asking Alexa to discover the wyze plug it states no device was found. When asking Alexa to turn on/off the plug with the name given on the device list in the Alexa app, Alexa responds with I can’t find a device with that name. Plug is always listed as unresponsive in the Alexa device list even when it works EXACTLY as promised in the wyze app. I bought these to use with Alexa and not pull out a phone and open an app and push a button. It’s faster to use a switch than use the phone. Come on Amazon!! What is the deal!!
