I was excited to find a stainless egg poacher without non-stick coating. This pan worked great for the first few times I used it, and then the glass lid literally exploded in my face while I was cooking eggs one morning. Not sure what happened. The lid wasn't cold, and it warmed up with the water in the poacher, so it couldn't have been a heat shock issue. The thing just exploded—full on sent tiny glass shards 10 feet in all directions. I'm really glad I was wearing glasses at the time. Bummed because I loved the pan. Hopefully mine was just a lemon and no one else has this issue. So dangerous! Also not happy that I have to actually have to fish the thing out of the trash and mail it back to get my refund.
