I have no idea why in the world ANYONE would wake up one day & decide to make a 2" wide mouthed pin that's crimped on both sides, with sides that don't even line up and think it was actually a good idea. I have a thick, naturally curly hair, it's everywhere. I've been using bobby pins in my hair for 30 years...I've NEVER put one in that wouldn't even stay/hold it's position, not to mention the fact that no matter which way you put them in you're either stuck with 2 big hunks of metal digging into your scalp or 2 big hunks of metal sticking way out from your head so it looks like you have little antennas all over your skull. They are just weird. A man had to have made these thinking it was a good idea because I cannot imagine any woman on the planet that would think these would be even close to comparable to a regular bobby pin. You know, the same bobby pins that have been doing their job since the beginning of time?! If it's not broken, don't fix it folks...pretty simple. By the way, this means I don't recommend them.
