I actually contacted TT concerning the fee for more than 1 return, and indeed they have reconsidered and allow up to 5 federal returns.... BUT you are still only allowed 1 state return. Additional per person is $35! ie, if you do your two kids returns, you pay an additional $70 on top of the $59 original cost (TT Deluxe). Here is there actual response... "I would like to inform you that as per the revised pricing policy, you will not be charged for doing additional federal returns. You can prepare and file up to five federal returns for free. With the CD or download, you will get one state download for free. For each additional state return you prepare (apart from the first free state that you do), you will be charged $34.95 as a preparation fee and $19.95 as e-filing fee. This e-filing fee in applicable for the first state return also." I'm off to TAXCUT!
