Very thin and lightweight. Does no one make a true Heavy Duty Stainless bowl anymore? I absolutely HATE the indent ring on the bottom of the bowl. I know they do this so it has some structural integrity because the material is so thin, but it is a pain in the butt to clean. Look at the attached picture. Every bit of that ridge up and down and up is wedged in the corner of the bowl. Food sticks there and is a pain to dig out. Putting in the diswasher doesn't generally get rid of the solids. When I order a stainless steel bowl, I am ordering it for sanitary reasons. That means an easy to clean smooth interior finish. You notice they don't offer a picture of the inside - if they had I never would have ordered it. This is a definite, DO NOT BUY recommendation.
