Wanted to love but too many issues
I found this product shortly after it was released. I had been searching for over a year for the all in one fitness watch that offered some smart phone syncing as well. This product seemed to have it all so I had to have it. Here were my issues, mainly being:
#1 I often found the stair feature to be inaccurate. I'd climb flights of stairs without so much as an acknowledgement by my fitbit but yet in the mornings, by the time I arrived to work, it would log at least 2 flights of stairs and I am on the ground level so I'm not sure where this data comes from.
#2 the HR rate I feared would be inaccurate but I gave it a go anyway. To no avail, it was constantly off. Now, I didn't wear another device and compare it simultaneously but at all times, even when the watch was OFF, it read 82bpm or higher, which I also have to think made my "calorie burn" off.
#3 last but NOT least, it left a huge mark on my wrist in which I'm now trying to heal. I am sure it's an allergic reaction that will go away (or I at least hope) but right now it looks like I had a fight with a curling iron. I really wish they made a band in different material. If you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend doing an internet search on skin irritations relating to this product so you can see what you're exposing yourself to. I wish I had known before I bought.
