Just using it to wrap up to test how warm the blanket is, it's pretty warm. Fair warning it is kind of bulky. If your plan is to use it in a bug out bag it will take up quite a bit of room. I'm still trying to find a folded configuration to work in my pack. Fresh out of the box it's 21/2" thick 6" wide and 8" long. Review update. Finally had a chance to truly test this thing out. Total failure. This thing is not durable. There black "fabric" is basically paper. My intent was to practice setting up a couple of basic emergency shelter configurations. I barely added some tension to the grommets and they deformed and red right out of the weak paper fabric. The grommets feel less durable that a soda can pop top. I'm really disappointed with these and frustrated with my self I waited so long to test them. Way to long for a return.
