If it breaks, you can't get warranty service.
I bought two of these lights, and they worked great for a while. Good amount of light, small size, low heat, good price.
Then one of them stopped working. I contacted Snap-on to get warranty service, and was told "We do not warranty items purchased off of Amazon. Warranties are only good to the original purchaser who purchased the item through Snap-on direct."
Is that a thing? I didn't even know that was a thing.
I'm very unimpressed with Snap-on as a company for having this policy. I suppose they might have their reasons, maybe they don't typically work with distributors/retailers and their products being sold here are sold by random people?
