I despise this steamer. I got this for my brother and I absolutely hate it for the following reasons: - It’s very heavy. You will receive a workout if you have to steam an item that’s rather wrinkled. - The steam button and operating plates get rather hot after you use the machine for a while. - The attachments don’t work, they leave creases, and they fall off. - The steamer spits out water. - It also doesn’t stand up, you have place it sideways on a surface when you need to readjust your clothes. - The steamer it self is questionable. In my opinion, it doesn’t steam well enough. You’re better off ironing if you have a wrinkled cotton item. I’m going to throw this one away and replace it with a Rowenta or Shark one. We hate ironing, and to be honest, we’re not good at it, so a good steamer is a must. I wanted to compare steamers. Since I had a Shark one before, I purchased a Rowenta for myself and this one for my brother. He tends to break things easy, so I thought the price and function would suit him, but the machine is terrible. He’s a college student, so he doesn’t mind the weight or getting his fingers a little burnt, still. I recommend folks research and invest in another product.
