I purchased this item because the turners my husband made were not working out. I liked the price and I liked that one the listing there was a 2 year warranty. That is what sold me because most people don't provide a warranty for their turners. I received it and on the inside of the lid of the box it shows they offer a lifetime warranty. I was even more excited. I easily put it together and I am not good at doing anything like that so anyone could put it together. It worked well for a few weeks. However I saw one of my cups had a huge white spot where epoxy had pooled. I ended up having to reglitter the whole cup because to get that off my husband accidentally took it down to the cup. I thought it was a weird, one time occurance but then I saw it was trying to do it again. I have never had this issue and was not using a signficant amount of epoxy. I prefer to use thinner coats. I decided to see if the cup was moving on there weird and sure enough it was spinning really weird. Going in an up and down motion. It didn't seem to do that with no cup on there. I put a different cup on and it did the same thing. These are only 12 and 16 oz cups so I know it is not a weight issue as most people use way bigger cups. I also noticed that it can tip easily if you push a little too hard on your cup. I think this is because the board is so short. I didn't have these issues with the ones my husband made because the base boards were longer. that is something I was just accepting but I was not going to deal with cups that put me back days and even made this cup lumpy with several layers. thankfully it was for my mother and she didn't mind but I would not send something like that to a customer. I am still in the practice stage and am frustrated that this was put on hold because the turner is junk. what is most upsetting is that I messaged them using the email on the lid of the box and they never got back with me so I contacted Amazon and am in the process of returning and getting a refund.
