I have been a huge fan in the past and this is the only reason I bought an Xbox One. I have multiple copies of each release in the Forza Motorsport series. I bought all the DLC, usually multiple time to use on multiple Xboxes. Never again. This is a huge rip off compared to previous versions of the game. I knew going in the cars and tracks had been gutted compared to previous versions, but figured DLC would make it up. Microsoft and Turn 10 are not getting another dime. Many of the social aspects have been cut: no storefront, auction house, gifting or car clubs. There are more things missing than are offset by the improved graphics. Forza 5 is a shell of what it should have been. Micro-transactions are everywhere and the racing winnings are such a trickle I doubt I'll ever be able to buy the most expensive cars in the game. Forza 4 had microtransactions for buying cars and I was okay with that. 3 tokens bought the most expensive car in the game, and the tokens only cost a couple dollars. The rate went up a little in Forza Horizon, but this time it's skyrocketed. The most expensive cars in the game will cost you $80 in real world currency each. I find this insulting and I'm voting with my wallet. I got suckered into buying a preorder, before these issue became apparent don't make the same mistake. I find this bad enough I bought a PS3 and am now waiting for GT6 in a couple weeks. Turn 10 has it's work cut out if they expect me to buy the next version.
