Terrible writing
I had heard some good things about this book and I'm always looking for up and coming Arab American authors. Needless to say I was very disappointed. The writing is quite repetitive and lacks any sort of nuance. The language is crude which can be okay but in this case does nothing to advance the story. Most importantly, the story itself was surprisingly boring and I found it very difficult to finish. I hope Randa considers finding a more suitable profession.
