Don't buy this product. It stopped pulling a vacuum after just a few uses. Since we did not use it frequently, the Amazon return date expired. We called the manufacturer and they said if we sent it back, they would send a new one. The cost of sending it back was $30.00. Really???? With a 5 year guarantee, I think Food Saver should issue an RA, and pay for the shipping. We had owned another Food Saver vacuum sealer for over 20 years before it finally died. So naturally I thought this one would be up to the same standard. I was very wrong, and very disappointed. Don't waste your money. There are better products available. Do your homework and don't make the same mistake we did.
