Bought this to replace a Braun that died after 10 years hard use. Thought at first it was going to be great, but after a few weeks we are just annoyed by it and are back to using a cheap blade grinde while we look for another burr grinder. First, the grind settings are all off. We always set our Braun about in the middle of the possible settings for fineness of grind. We have this one on the last possible setting, set to coarse, and it is still grinding TOO fine. It's grinding at almost an espresso level- a very fine powder that gets everywhere, and makes a mess. We really hate this grinder. Maybe it's just a defect on our unit. **REVIEW UPDATED January 31, 2017** I just changed this review form 2 stars to 1, because after FIVE MONTHS of use, this unit has died. What a piece of crap.
